Noreen Cacchione

Noreen opened Northern Elite Gymnastics and Cheer in April 2008. Growing up, she participated in recreational gymnastics and always had a love for the sport. After graduating from Wheaton College, Noreen went on to a successful 20 year career in the corporate world in various senior Accounting and Marketing functions.  As a parent of two daughters, Noreen enrolled them in gymnastics and cheerleading training at an early age knowing the value these sports teach in discipline, strength, and commitment. Coupling her business knowledge and passion for the sports of gymnastics and cheerleading, Noreen has built a program with the philosophy of empowering athletes to be the best version of themselves; one that trains them to be champions for life. Noreen has successfully created a family-like community that helps develop hard working, dedicated, and respectful athletes.

Maggie Cacchione

Maggie Cacchione

Coach Maggie is a USASF certified coach.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications from Villanova University. Maggie was a Level 4 cheerleader at Northern Elite and continued her cheerleading career at Villanova University. She cheered on the Varsity All Girl team for four years, and was captain her Senior year.  She was both a top and a base throughout college and has tremendous experience in both areas.  She coached at Northern Elite throughout high school and for various recreational teams throughout college before returning to Northern Elite after graduation. She is currently the Head Coach of Northern Elite's Youth 2 team, Arctic Freeze, and manages both the business and office at Northern Elite.  You can reach out to Maggie if you have any questions regarding classes, private lessons, camps, or payments.

Jackie Morris

Coach Jackie has been involved in gymnastics since she was two years old.  She trained as a Level 10 gymnast and competed through her senior year in high school.  She cheered for three years on the Varsity Coed team at Villanova University and graduated from Stockton University with a degree in Psychology.  She has over 15 years of gymnastics and cheerleading coaching experience and has been at Northern Elite since we opened in 2008.  She continues to work with all of our competitive gymnastics teams, cheer teams, classes and in the office.

Andrea Katz

Andrea Katz

Coach Andrea is an All Star Cheerleading Coach for our Tiny Novice team, Silver Lightning and our Senior 4 team, Black Ice. Andrea is also our All Star Cheerleading Program Director. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and a Masters in Reading from Montclair State University. She also earned her certification in Special Education from Centenary College. Andrea has six years of coaching experience with the Long Valley Raiders Cheerleading Association and four years with the Long Valley Competition Cheerleading Association. Andrea started coaching at Northern Elite in 2009. She has led teams to many national titles, a U.S. Finals Championship, and all of her teams have qualified for The D2 Summit in Florida.

Sergio Estrada

Sergio Estrada

Coach Sergio was a member of the Guatemalan Gymnastics Olympic Team from 1993-1995, achieving many awards including first place on Floor Exercise, second place on Vault, fifth place on High Bar, and seventh place on Parallel Bars. Sergio came to the U.S. in 1995 and began his coaching career in 1996.  Sergio has become one of the most successful gymnastic coaches on the East Coast leading many of his athletes to numerous State and Regional Championships.  As a mentor and coach, Sergio will continue to produce future champion gymnasts.

Kim Forrest

Kim Forrest

Coach Kim was a competitive gymnast for 12 years. She was also a cheerleader during this time and continued her cheerleading career at Cornell University. Upon graduating college, Kim began coaching at a private gymnastics club in New Jersey and has been coaching for over 30 years. Kim also served as a high school gymnastics coach, USAG judge, and has over 20 years of experience as a high school gymnastics judge. Kim has been a coach and choreographer for the USAG and USAIGC Competitive Gymnastics teams at Northern Elite since 2011.

Sue F

Sue Falleni

Coach Sue has been at Northern Elite since 2015. She earned a full gymnastics scholarship to Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received her B.S. in Physical Education and a minor in Nutrition.  While competing for IUP, she became a two-time NCAA All-American on Vault and Floor and helped her team to a National Title. Coach Sue went on to be a Graduate Assistant Gymnastics Coach at West Virginia University.  There she earned her Masters in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. Over the last 25 years, she has coached the Randolph High School gymnastics team and has coached at other clubs in the area.

Coach Emily was a Northern Elite Level 9 gymnast and graduated in 2015. After graduation she went on to join our coaching staff. Emily now coaches our recreational classes as well as some of our Competitive Gymnastics teams.  She is the Head Coach coach of our Pre-Team Gymnastics program, and coaches USAG Level 3.  Emily also coaches private lessons for all skills ranging from forward rolls to layouts.

Gina McDougle

Gina McDougle

Coach Gina has been coaching at Northern Elite since 2016. She is an All Star Cheerleading coach for our Senior 3 team, Riptide, and our Senior 4 team, Black Ice. Gina started her cheerleading career at Lynn University, cheering on their All Girl team. She then moved to New Jersey and started coaching and running a recreational competition team for over 13 years, winning numerous national titles. Gina went on to coach All Star Cheerleading in 2009. She has been a member of the Metropolitan Cheerleading Judges Association since 2003. Coach Gina is USASF certified, YCADA Pop Warner certified, and NFHS certified.

Marissa Imperato

Coach Marissa cheered at both the high school and college level. During her cheerleading career, she won three National Championships and was a finalist at the UCA Collegiate Nationals. She has been coaching since 2012 at the youth and high school level. Marissa created the Franklin Lakes Competitive Team as well as coached the Ramapo High School cheerleading team to their first National Championship in seven years! She has a Bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University and is currently employed by the Jefferson Township School District as a Teacher of Special Education. Marissa coaches our Youth 2 team, Arctic Freeze, and our Senior 3 team, Riptide. Marissa has been with Northern Elite since 2018.

Taylor Spina

Coach Taylor started her cheerleading career when she was six years old. She was named Captain for several of the teams that she cheered on. She once led her team to win The U.S. Finals. Taylor also has experience coaching gymnastics since 2014, taking gymnasts to Regional and National Championships. Taylor currently works in an Early Childhood Development setting. Taylor coaches our Tiny Novice All Star Cheerleading team at Northern Elite in addition to coaching recreational classes.

Hailey Smith

Hailey Smith

Coach Hailey competed as a Northern Elite Level 9 gymnast and graduated in 2010. She continued her career at Northern Elite as a team and recreational coach while studying at CCM and William Paterson University. She graduated from WPU in 2016 with a degree in Education and currently works as a Teacher of Special Education within Morris County.  Hailey’s background in Child Development, Gymnastics and Cheerleading makes her a valuable coach here at Northern Elite.

Lynsie Labell

Coach Lynsie has been involved with gymnastics and cheerleading for over 20 years. She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years before transitioning to cheerleading. She pursued cheerleading at the college level. Lynsie cheered for Rutgers University's Football and Basketball teams and she was also a member of the Rutgers All Girl Competition Cheerleading team. After college, Lynsie pursued a career in teaching and coaching.  She coached USAG Levels 4-9 and also USAIGC Bronze, Silver, and Gold.  Lynsie is currently an English Teacher and the Head Cheerleading Coach at Lenape Valley High School. She also coaches tumbling classes and private lessons here at Northern Elite.

Shelly Katz

Shelly Katz

Coach Shelly is a Level 8 gymnast at Northern Elite and has been an athlete here since we opened.  She is the Level 5, 6, and 8 Floor State Champion and has broken 2 state records on Floor.  She coaches recreational classes as well as Pre-Team and USAG Level 3.  She coaches private lessons for skills ranging from forward rolls to standing tucks. Shelly loves working with children and is super enthusiastic about coaching!

Annika Holmquist

Annika Holmquist

Coach Annika began her competitive gymnastics career in 2011 here at Northern Elite. Currently, she is a competing Level 8 gymnast. In 2017, Annika placed 2nd at Regionals on Vault. Here at Northern Elite, Annika coaches Preschool classes, Girls Level 1 and Girls Level 2, as well as Beginner 2 Tumbling classes.

Holly Schreck

Coach Holly started her gymnastics career in 2008. She was a competitive gymnast at Northern Elite for 6 years. She is currently a Senior cheerleader at Mount Olive High School. Holly coaches Preschool classes, Beginner 1 and 2 Tumbling, and Girls Level 1-3. She also coaches private lessons for skills ranging from forward rolls to back handsprings.

Amelia Cangialosi

Coach Amelia was part of Northern Elite's Power Team Gymnastics program for six years. In 2017, Amelia and her team won the National Championship's in Florida. Amelia also competed with Northern Elite's Acrobatics and Tumbling team for two years. She now coaches Beginner 1 Tumbling and Girls Level 1 recreational classes here at Northern Elite.

Jordan Perkins

Coach Jordan was a competitive gymnast for nine years. She is currently a Senior cheerleader at Mount Olive High School. Jordan now coaches Preschool classes, as well as Girls Level 1 and Girls Level 2 here at Northern Elite.

Cristina Pisciotti

Cristina began her cheerleading career in 2005 with the Long Valley Raiders Cheerleading Association on both their recreational and competitive teams. She joined Northern Elite in 2010 as an All Star Cheerleader. She also cheered for her high school all four years, and was named Captain her Senior year. In addition to cheering at Northern Elite, Cristina has experience coaching Girls Level 1, Beginner 1 Tumbling, and All Star cheerleading up to Level 2. Cristina earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Delaware in 2018 and is now serving as our Director of Social Media.
